Hello Yogis! I am Nidhi Bhanot. I am a certified Yoga Trainer from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Delhi. I have 6+ years of experience taking personal Yoga classes. I specialize in giving personal yoga classes to Women’s and Couples. I am MBA in HR and earlier used to work in corporate sector.

Earlier I used to think of yoga as one of the forms of exercise. But as I gained deeper knowledge of yoga, I learned that yoga works on all aspects of person psychologically, emotionally, mentally and physically

In the 6+ years of teaching yoga, I have learned a lot by giving classes to my students. I started learning yoga for my own wellbeing. As I gained health and inner peace, I felt inclined towards teaching yoga. I thought through my yoga classes I will be able to improve people’s life. I feel blessed that I am able to add some value to people’s life as a yoga trainer. I would like to share a quote:

Shatkarma

The Shatkarmas also known as Shatkriyas, are a set of Yogic purifications of the body. Their purpose is to remove "gross impurities" and cure a range of diseases. It is important for a yoga practitioner to purify their inner body organs from time to time so as to make sure the proper working of yogic practices on the body. Shatkarma removes impurities of internal body. To make sure the proper flow of Prana (life force) Shatkarma ensures there isn’t any physical/mental knot present in Nadis.

Asana

“Asana” is the Sanskrit word for a physical posture. Asana denotes a specific position which can be held in a relaxed and comfortable manner for a long period of time. Asanas have a far-reaching effect upon body and mind. Asanas are beneficial for the muscles, joints, cardiovascular system, nervous system and lymphatic system, as well as the mind, psyche and Chakras (energy centres). They are psychosomatic exercises, which strengthen and balance the entire nervous system and harmonise and stabilise the practitioner’s state of mind and cure many diseases. The effects of these exercises are a sense of contentment, clarity of mind, relaxation and a feeling of inner freedom and peace.
